Hi There and WELCOME to 1st Ferring's web pages.
We are a Scout Group based in the Village of Ferring in West Sussex and have been scouting from our well-loved old scout hut since 1961.
We are a friendly group with a family atmosphere. We have 4 Scouting Sections for young people from ages 4 – 14 (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Sea Scouts).
We are a Sea Scout Group which means that the Scout Section wears a different uniform to regular land scouts but we all belong to the UK Scout Association. The main difference is that we try to make sure that all Scouts leave us with basic nautical skills and we try to get them to experience time on the water when we can.
